VPS App Management
Every VPS instance has a dedicated manage page accessible from the dashboard. It provides full server management through the following sections.Access
View your server’s connection details:- Default domain — HTTPS URL to the application dashboard (for apps like Coolify, Dokploy, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent)
- IPv4 address — your dedicated IPv4
- SSH command —
ssh root@<your-ip>with the key from your deployment email - App credentials — admin email/password, dashboard URL, and any other generated credentials
Ubuntu VPS does not display a clickable URL because it has no pre-installed web application. Access it via SSH or the browser console.
Power Controls
Control your server’s power state:- Power Off — stops the server gracefully. Data is preserved on disk. Billing continues at 25% of the normal rate.
- Power On — starts a stopped server. Requires a positive balance.
- Reboot — performs a graceful restart.
Browser Console
Open a browser-based serial console (xterm.js) for emergency access without an SSH client. The console bypasses the network stack entirely, making it invaluable when:- SSH is unreachable due to a firewall misconfiguration
- A failed system update prevents normal boot
- You need to diagnose issues before the network stack is available
SSH Keys
Manage SSH public keys for root access:- RepoCloud auto-generates an Ed25519 key pair at deployment and sends the private key in your deployment email
- Add keys for team members or other machines from the manage page
- Remove keys to revoke access
- Keys are shared across all your VPS instances
Root Password
View and reset your server’s root SSH password from the manage page. The password is generated at deployment and can be reset at any time.Resize
Change your server’s CPU, RAM, and disk by selecting a different tier:- Upsizing is always available — select a larger tier and the change takes effect within a few minutes
- Disk downgrades are not possible — once you resize to a tier with a larger disk, you cannot go back to a smaller disk
- Tiers with smaller disk than your current tier are disabled with a tooltip explaining why
Snapshots
Create point-in-time backups of your entire server disk:- Up to 5 snapshots per instance
- Billed at $0.10/GB/month based on the snapshot size
- Create a snapshot before risky changes (upgrades, configuration changes, experiments)
Restoring a Snapshot
Click Restore next to the target snapshot. If newer snapshots exist between the target and the current state, the confirmation dialog lists exactly which snapshots will be permanently destroyed by the ZFS rollback. The target snapshot itself always survives. The server restarts during restore (typically 10–25 seconds) and the manage page refreshes automatically when the operation completes.Usage
Monitor your server’s resource consumption:- CPU — cores used per hour
- RAM — peak memory usage in MB
- Disk — storage usage in GB
- Bandwidth — outbound data transfer in MB per hour
Custom Domain
Point your own domain to the VPS by creating a DNS A record pointing to your dedicated IPv4 address, then registering it in the dashboard. For VPS apps like Coolify and Dokploy that manage their own domains through Traefik, use the application’s built-in domain management for individual services and the RepoCloud custom domain for the VPS itself. See Custom Domains for the full setup guide.Danger Zone
Permanently delete your server, all data, snapshots, and IPv4 reservation:- Click Delete Server in the Danger Zone section
- Type the project name to confirm
- Click the delete button
Billing-Paused Lockdown
When a VPS instance is system-paused at zero balance, the manage page disables all actions except server deletion and snapshot deletion. A warning banner shows the number of grace days remaining and links to the billing page to add funds. Disabled actions during billing pause:- Power on, reboot
- Resize
- Create snapshot, restore snapshot
- Console access
- SSH key changes
- Rename, custom domain
